“Dr. Stuckwisch is the pastor of Emmaus Lutheran Church in South Bend, Indiana, where he has served since his Ordination in May of 1996. He earned his doctorate in liturgical studies from the University of Notre Dame in 2002, and completed a Master of Sacred Theology degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, in the spring of 2003. He was a member of the Lutheran Service Book project from 1998 until 2006, serving on the Lectionary Committee, the Lord’s Supper working group, and the hymn selection subcommittee of that project. He served for nine years on the Indiana District’s Worship & Spiritual Committee, and now serves as First Vice President of the Indiana District. He and his wife, LaRena, have been married for thirty-four years this June. They have ten children, four of whom are now married, and ten grandchildren as of this year.”
